【Staff Pick!】1958 Fender Musicmaster (Sand)

本日ご紹介するのは
1958 Fender Musicmaster (Sand)です。

59年前に作られたとは思えないとても綺麗なミュージックマスターが入荷しました！

ピックアップは巻き直されておますが、他はオリジナルで、まだまだ弾けます。

ショートスケールのネックは細くて薄いですが、決して弱々しくはなく、弦の振動をしっかりと支え、ボディーに伝えてくれます。

若干2.75kgととても軽く、そして古いことも相まってカラッとしたいい生鳴りがします。

アノダズド・ピックガードが高音域の倍音によりディテールを与え、決してぶっといパワフルな音ではないながら、とても味わい深い音が楽しめます。

確かにミュージックマスターはスチューデントモデルとして登場しましたが、やはり生きてきた歳月は嘘をつきません。

シンプルながらも素敵な楽器です。

1958 Fender Musicmaster (Sand)

Here’s a very clean and well kept 59 year-old Musicmaster!

The pickup has been rewound but otherwise in original form, this one is still a player.

The short-scale neck is very narrow and thin, but does not feel flimsy and supports the vibration of the strings well.

This thing is light as a feather, weighing just over 6 lbs, and rings like a bell.

The anodized pickguard adds some shimmering harmonics to the overtone, and though not very powerful or fat, the tone has great complexity.

Yes, the Musicmaster was first introduced as a student model, but man, you can’t beat age.

Simple but fantastic.
