2004 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’69 Stratocaster Custom by Art Esparza (Vintage White)

 

ホワイト/ローズ、ブラックパーツ、スキャロップ指板にSSL-4、シャーラーペグ…..リッチーじゃないですか!

 

’69ストラトの表記となっていますがちゃんと3点どめネックジョイントになっております。

ちゃんとあの’74ぽくなっております。

 

音はズ・バ・リ!

やはりだいぶパワフルな音ですね…リアのあのトレブリーかつラウドな感じはまさに!って感じです。

 

案外ローゲインで弾いても太めのネックグリップのおかげもあって重心が低めの音です。

 

歪ませるとさすがです、まず音がでかい!笑

当たり前ですが、歪ますとローがノーマルとは段違いに出ます。

スキャロップ指板と高出力ピックアップのコンプ感が相まって非常に速めのフレーズが弾きやすいです。

 

MBSでこのスペック、このルックスはまたとないのではないでしょうか?

ヴィンテージをmodしようとお考えだった方にもお勧めいたします!

Hello friends!

 

My pick for today is…

2004 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’69 Stratocaster Custom by Art Esparza (Vintage White).

 

White finish, scalloped rosewood fingerboard, Seymour Duncan SSL-4 pickups, black plastic parts and Schaller tuners: Richie Blackmore!

This one is a ’69 model but has a 3-bolt neck joint, so yes, it’s pretty much like Richie’s famous ’74 Strat.

 

The output is powerful as expected, especially the bridge pickup with that bright and loud tone.

You don’t have to play it through a cranked Marshall.

Even with low-gain settings, there’s a good fatness thanks to the relatively thick neck.

 

But happens when you do plug it into a cranked amp?

The sound is huge, and belts out the low-end in a way you will never hear in typical Strats.

 

With the scalloped fretboard and hot output pickup, there’s a nice compression that makes it easier to shred through those light speed passages.

 

You won’t find many Masterbuilt models with this looks and specs.

I could definitely recommend this one to those who are thinking of modding a vintage Strat too.
