本日ご紹介するのは
2004 PRS McCarty Soapbar Roseneck (Gold)。

 

とにかくいい音だな〜と思っちゃう一本。

実はニコニコスタッフの間でも人気です。

 

そもそもPRSなので、ハイとローのバランスの良さとフワーっと伸びてくれるサステインは織り込み済み。

そこにソープバーピックアップの特性が活きて、太さは残りつつもやや明るく、歪ませても損なわれないレスポンスの良さがとにかく素晴らしい。

 

リアは膨らみのある中域、そしてハイが出過ぎない扱いやすさ、そしてフロントもコシのある甘い音でありながら、モコモコにはならない、いいソープバーの音が余すところなく出てくれる印象。

 

そして黄金に輝くこのルックス。音も見た目も一目置かれちゃいます。

Here’s a great sounding guitar you guys might want to check out.

This one is one of the favorites among our shop staffs.

 

Well, it’s a PRS, meaning a very balanced tone and a beautiful sustain, and the soap bar pickups give the tone a little more brightness and grit when you play it with some dirt.

 

The bridge pickup has a nice open mid-range without any piercing treble, and the neck pickup has a sweet tone without any muddiness, a tone you can expect from a good soap bar-mounted axe.

 

Not to mention this gold finish. This one’s an eye-catcher indeed.
