本日ご紹介するのは

2005 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’64 Stratocaster Closet Classic by Chris Fleming (Dakota Red)

 

こちらは最近のぼくのお気に入りのストラトです。

このダコタレッドフィニッシュがどこかヴィンテージライクな趣があってかっこいいんですよね。

普段からフェンダー側の方に目をやるとこの一本がいつも目に入ります。意識しちゃってます。

 

音はとてもバランスがよくなめらかで、高音域をきらびやかな倍音が包みつつもリアピックアップでも耳が痛くなるような帯域は決して多くありません。

 

強いタッチで弾いても負けずに温かいサステインがついてくるので表情の幅がグッと広がります。

2005 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’64 Stratocaster Closet Classic by Chris Fleming (Dakota Red)

 

Here’s a Strat that has made it into my favorites list.

The Dakota Red finish really has a vintage vibe and looks beautiful.

Every time I glance over to the Fender side of the store, this one catches my eyes.

 

It’s got a very balanced and smooth tone with a nice sparkly harmonics in the treble frequencies without being overly bright even on the bridge pickup.

The “quack” just feels great on all pickups, and there is a good amount of warmth in the sustain.

The note hangs in there and doesn’t die out even if you play with a strong touch, which gives you another color on your palette.
