2010 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’69 Stratocaster Relic by Greg Fessler (White/MH)。

 

なかなか見ることのない’69でホワイトでマッチングヘッド!

この焼け具合が非常においしそうな見た目をしているんです。笑

 

音はズ・バ・リ!!!

 

これはいい音!

貼りメイプル独特のアタッキーな感じもあるのですが、ローミッドが強めのキャラに感じます。

単音を弾いた時のゴリっとした部分がかなり気持ちいいです。

指弾きも跳ね返り感のある音でいい味が出ます。

 

メイプル指板のストラトだとリアが使いづらい個体も多いのですがこれは全部のピックアップがバランスよく使えます!

アンプ直でも、Fuzz Faceつないでジミヘンするのもきっといい音で鳴ってくれるでしょう!

My pick for today is…

2010 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’69 Stratocaster Relic by Greg Fessler (White/MH).

 

We don’t see many white ’69 Strats with a matching color headstock do we?

The sunburned color of the finish looks pretty yummy.

 

You all are aware by now that I wouldn’t choose to write a blog about a guitar that only looks good.

Yep, it’s got tone.

 

It’s got that spanky attack you would expect from a maple capped fretboard, but this thing has a strong low-midrange character that brings a lot of grit to those single notes.

 

Some Strats with a maple capped fretboard tend to be too bright on the bridge position, but this one is well balanced at all positions.

 

Either plug it in directly into the amp or do some Hendrix-ing with a Fuzz Face, you’ll get an in-your-face tone right out of the gate.
