本日ご紹介するのは
2014 Fender Custom Shop Team Built ’59 Stratocaster Heavy Relic

 

今日ご紹介する一本もぼくのお気に入り。

この黒にべっ甲ガードの組み合わせってやっぱりカッコいいですよね。

 

生鳴りはストラトにしてはとても癖がなくバランスが良く (中には鼻が詰まった感じのものや、ただただ硬いものもあります)、ホセフィーナ・カンポス女史によるハンドワウンドピックアップは低出力。

そのお陰でピックアップが過度に出音を色づけすることなく、生鳴りの持つ膨らみのある中域がアンプを通してもちゃんと出てくれます。

 

SRVのようなぶっとい音では決してなく、見た目ほどワイルドな感じではありません。

エレガントでビンテージ感のある良いストラトをお探しの方にはオススメできる一本です。

2014 Fender Custom Shop Team Built ’59 Stratocaster Heavy Relic

 

Here we have a Strat that’s one of my favorites in the shop right now.

I love the looks of this tortoise-guard-on-black-finish combination.

 

The resonance of this guitar is very balanced (some Strats are very nasally, some are “stiff”), and the Josefina Campos-wound pickups have a fairly low output.

The pickups don’t add too much of its character to the overall tone, and the full warm mid-range of the body resonance comes out nicely through the amp.

 

It doesn’t have that fat SRV-ish grit, and it doesn’t sound as wild as it looks.

This one’s definitely for those who are looking for an elegant tone with a vintage vibe.
