本日ご紹介するのは Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1954 Les Paul VOS (Oxblood)
伝説のジェフ・ベックを彷彿とさせるデザインですね！

ハムバッカー、バーテイルブリッジ、オックスブラッドカラー….
名アルバム、『Blow by Blow』のあいつそっくりです。

54シェイプの極太ネックは最初は違和感を感じると思いますが、慣れるとそのフィット感が心地よくなります。

クリーントーンは重心が低く落ち着いた鳴りです。
単音でも和音でも太く響いてくれます。

歪ませるとなんとも極上なドライブサウンドが聴こえてきます….
オールマンやもちろんジェフベックな音まで出てきます、最高でした。

まるで往年のレコードの音が自分の指先からこぼれ出ているような気分です。

Gibson Custom Shop 2014 Historic 1954 Les Paul VOS (Oxblood).

It really looks like Jeff Beck’s, right?

Humbucker pickups, Bar-tail bridge, the Oxblood color…

PERFECT!!!

We’ve all seen Jeff holding this one on the cover of “Blow by Blow”.

The fat ’54 neck shape might feel pretty chunky at first, but once you become friends with it, it’ll fit in your hands nicely.

The clean tone is well tamed and has a lot of depth.

Single note or chord, it’s got a good fatness.

Throw in some dirt and it’s got a gorgeous drive tone reminiscent of Duane Allman or, of course, Mr. Beck.

It’s like having those great guitar tones from the good old classic records flowing out of your fingers.
