本格的な夏の始まりですね、夏曲の季節です、ええ。皆様の選ぶ夏曲は何でしょうか?

スタッフY的にはやっぱり裸足でSummerです、そうです、乃木ちゃんです。それ以降は長くなりそうなので特に触れません、割愛させて頂きます…

 

そんなわけで本日ご紹介するのはコチラ!

2016年製 Zemaitis S22MT TT2 (Black)です。

どうでしょう、このジュラルミン製トップ、冷えてますよ(?)

…というのはさておき、Zemaitisの歴史上にない現代的なデザインをと設計された”トライバルタトゥー”というデザインが採用されています。ドラゴンや葉などの幻想的なデザインの多いZemaitisの中でかなり異彩を放つこのデザイン、よりロックでエッジの効いた印象です。攻めてる感が桁違いです、しかもオブライエン氏の手彫りです！ホンジュラスマホガニー製の木部はブラックフィニッシュで仕上げられており、これまた全体を引き締めてよりロックなルックスに仕上がっています！かっこいいですよ！

音はいかに!

Zemaitisらしいミドルレンジの出方です、いいいなたさが出てます。ちょっとレンジが狭めのアンプでクランチ気味に鳴らすのが気持ち良さそうです。ロック…というよりはやはりロックンロール!!って音がします。レコードとか古いライブ盤で聞く音ってやっぱりこういうレンジ感の音だなと思います。トレブルをがっつり足していっても耳が痛くないので大きめの音で弾く人の耳にもかなり優しいし、実際音がでかい人たちにも愛用者が多いのはその辺なのでしょうか。

2016 Zemaitis S22MT TT2 (Black).

 

How about a nice cool duralumin-top guitar for the hot summer?

This one sports a “Tribal Tattoo” design. When you think of Zemaitis metal-fronts, you might imagine designs of dragons and leaves, but this one takes it to another level. Hand engraved by Zemaitis Master Craftsman Danny O’Brien himself, and together with the black-finished Honduran mahogany back, this one has the look of a down-right rock machine. Darn kool.

This one seems to go together nicely with an amp that doesn’t have a very broad sonic range. Maybe a small combo cranked to moderate break-up would do the job. What I’m going for here is those lo-fi guitar sounds we heard on old rock-‘n’-roll records. You can dime the treble frequencies and still won’t be too harsh, and I’m imagining this is one of the reasons why guitar players with pretty loud stage volume use a Zemaitis.
