2017年製 James Tyler Studio Elite HD (Barn Find)です。

 

既に本年モデルの中古品が入荷しております。

なんといってもこの見た目ですよね。

 

James Tylerはその抜群の演奏性のみならず、他のメーカーには見られない個性的なフィニッシュで知られ、この一本はまさにその全てを物語っています。

 

この”バーン・ファインド”フィニッシュはイメージとしては片田舎の小屋に何十年も放置されて味の出きった車のような色味。

実際にそんなあばら小屋からタイラーが見つかるなんてことはなかなかないでしょうけど、一旦そういう理屈は置いておきましょう。

 

そんな塗装をボディや指板面のみならずネックのグリップ側にも施してしまうくらいですから相当なもんです。

 

目を惹くギターをお探しの方にはピッタリの一本です。

スワンプアッシュ材を使用したボディは弦振動をがっしりとまとめてくれるので、当たりのスタジオエリートに見られる芯とパンチのある弾けるような低音と煌びやかで明瞭な高音域が見事に同居しています。

 

アンサンブルの中から飛び出てくるようなリードトーンからうっとりしてしまうようなクリーントーンによるコードアルペジオまで守備範囲は広大。

それでいて収まりきった優等生という訳でもなく乗りこなし甲斐のある楽器です。見た目も出音も。

2017 James Tyler Studio Elite HD (Barn Find).

 

Well take a look at this one.

We already have a 2017 model for a used price.

 

James Tylers are known not only for their superb playability but their unique finishes, and this one says it all.

 

The Barn Find finish replicates what an old Cheverolet or a Dodge might look like after decades of being left in a barn somewhere in the prairies.

You’re doing your road trip across America, it’s late at night, the weather isn’t looking good but you’re still 200 miles away from the closest town and you need shelter.

You find an abandoned barn, manage to open the shutter and there it is.

 

Chances are you’re not going to find a Studio Elite in an old abandoned barn, but let’s just make believe.

 

Not only is the finish on the fretboard and body, they’ve done it on the back of the neck as well. This is some piece of work.

 

If you’re looking for a guitar with a killer look, this one is for you.

If you’re looking for a guitar with a killer tone, this one is for you too.

 

The swamp ash body holds down the body resonance very well, creating that solid, punchy and big low end and clarity that good Studio Elites have.

Whether you want a lead tone that cuts through in a band or a sparkly clean tone for arpeggios, this one will do the job.

 

You would just have to come and see this one.
