本日紹介するのは…. PRS 2012 Private Stock#3950 DGT (Sunset Burst)
です!
さすがプライベートストック、ゴージャスですね……

このコはのポイントはズバリ….
艶やか!

もう見た目から既に艶々ですよね。

かなり目の細かいフレイムに赤目のサンセットバーストがかなり映えています。
まさに夕暮れな見た目です。

もちろん音も艶やかですよ。
DGTオリジナルのピックアップが搭載されているのですが、出力が多少控えめで落ち着きのある印象でした。

このギターはヘビーゲージが指定なのですが、サスティーンが伸びつつアタックもしっかり出て”いいギター”の音がします。
楽器屋らしからぬ言い回しではありますが…笑

コントロールが少々独特な2V1Tでコイルタップなのですが、ヘッド側からリアヴォリューム、フロントヴォリューム、トーンになっております。
リアを多用する方には嬉しい配置ですね。

My pick for today is…
PRS 2012 Private Stock#3950 DGT (Sunset Burst)

The flame maple top and “Sunset Burst” finish on this guitar is darn beautiful.

The tone is no less.

This guitar is loaded with DGT Originals, which have a relatively low output.

A “fair lady” if you will.

The default setting uses heavy-gauge strings, and it’s easy to understand why.

The attack comes out nice, and the notes sustain very nicely.

Simply put, it sounds like a “good guitar”.

Another thing about this guitar is that the control configuration is a bit unique.

Going from the head-side to the tail-side: bridge PU volume, neck PU volume and master-tone.

So it’s opposite of a regular guitar, and this might come in handy for players who mainly stay on the bridge side.

A very nice Private Stock Artist model indeed.
