2006年製 James Tyler Studio Elite Deluxe NAMM 2005 Edition (Jim Burst)!!

 

2005年のNAMM Showに出展されたモデルで、ボディ材にはにリブド加工を施したマムヨ材、ネックはバーズアイメイプル/エボニー/マホガニーの5プライで形成されています。

 

ゴールドパーツにバインディングが施されたキルトトップに美しいグラデーションのジムバースト…高級感しか有りません。

 

音はいかに!

さすがリブド加工が施されているだけあって生鳴りも大きく、出音も空気感があります。

しかしだからといってあのタイラーらしい反応の早さや倍音感は失われていません。

不思議な感じの出音と弾き心地ですね。

 

ちょっとヴォリュームを絞ってミッドブーストをかけたJazzギターのようなクリーントーン、パラレルのハーフトーンでジ・エッジのようなクランチからリアハムでのハイゲイントーンまで自由にアクセス出来ます。

このバリエーションの広さで全て使える音だなんて…恐ろしいギターです。

We’re heading towards the end of year 2017, and I do believe you all deserve a little present for yourselves.

Here’s a little something you might want to give a little thought on:

 

2006 James Tyler Studio Elite Deluxe NAMM 2005 Edition (Jim Burst)

 

This one was made specially for the NAMM Show back in 2005, and it’s got a Mamywo ribbed body and a birdseye-maple/ebony/mahogany 5-piece neck.

The bound quilted maple top finished in the beautiful Jim Burst color is just stunning, and the gold hardware makes things even better.

 

Thanks to the ribbed body construction, it’s already loud unplugged, and when you plug it in the airiness is still there buut this doesn’t take away the James Tyler responsiveness or sparkle.

With all these combined, the guitar does have a unique feel.

 

You can go for a jazzy tone with the volume rolled off a little bit and turn on the mid-boost; you could go for a crunchy overdrive with the mixed positions running in parallel; you could go for a fat high-gain lead tone with the bridge humbucker, or everything in between.

With this many usable colors on the palette, this thing is a monster.
