Gibson Custom Shop 2025 Murphy Lab 1968 Les Paul Custom Ultra Light Aged

This is the “1968 Les Paul Custom” model from “Murphy Lab,” a team led by Tom Murphy, a leading expert in aging techniques.

This instrument features an Ultra Light Aged finish, which recreates the appearance of a vintage guitar that has been carefully stored in its case and shows only minor signs of wear and weathering. This reissue of the 1968 model features a maple top and mahogany back.

The neck features a relatively slim Authentic '68 Medium C-Shape profile, and the guitar is equipped with two “68 Custom Humbucker pickups” developed by Edwin Wilson, the former Historic Products Manager.

There is slight wear on the finish between the pickups on the body top caused by picking. Otherwise, the guitar is in excellent condition with virtually no signs of use.
The neck and truss rod are also in good condition.
